Part of the A and D routes from the operator GoBus offers a direct connection between John Glenn International Airport (CMH). The journey takes only 15 to 20 minutes but is available only 4 times a day, 7 days a week. Currently, departures are at 7:50, 10:15, and 15:10 on the A route and at 13:00 on the D route. You can check the schedules in the Routes section of RideGoBus.
Another economical option is through the Columbus city bus service, managed by the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). Using their trip planner, you can view schedules and routes for your travel. Taking route 7 from the airport to S Front St & w Broad St, then transferring to route 5 at S High St & E Broad St one block away, will take you to the Greyhound Station in Columbus.
The cost of the trip via COTA buses is one of the most economical, although the transfer from one point to another, passing through different stops throughout the city, could take up to 2 hours.
Similar to the previous case, you can take a taxi from the airport outskirts directly to the Greyhound Station in Columbus, about 20 miles away. The journey can take from 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic and the route.
Alternatively, you still have COTA bus lines. Whether you take route 22 or 24 from Rickenbacker International Airport, you will need to transfer at the intersection with route number 5 to reach the Greyhound Bus Station in Columbus.
